Ascella Star

Zeta Sagittarii also named Ascella is a binary star and the third brightest star in the constellation of Sagittarius. Based upon parallax measurements it is about 88 ly from the sun.

This year marks my 50th birthday and so I thought it quite appropriate to name a new star quilting block after my star sign.

Ascella star is a perspex template set that clearly shows the 1/4″ seam allowance and also has drill holes to mark the sewing points. This makes rotary cutting and machine piecing really easy.

The template set comes with a full pattern showing fabric requirements and instructions to complete the project.
